Why should you care how to make a better presentation?

Through my own work experience (learn more here - my LinkedIn profile) I've seen that the ability to stand in front of a group and give a presentation is often an expected skill.  However, the ability to get your message across, to inform and to explain/train is a much more powerful skill than just making a presentation.  Unfortunately, not many colleges and universities offer courses in the soft skills needed to be a great communicator. I beleive strong presentation skills and the ability to engage and connect can truly set you apart from the crowd.  Management consultant Tom Peters says, "presentation skills are worthy of extreme obsessive study."  This course offers the knowledge and guidance to begin your journey!
